Humans have always looked at the sky. Fascinated or fearful, since prehistory, we try to understand how it works. The movement of the stars, the lunar cycles, the seasons, the arrival of the cold, the duration of the days ... as if our lives depended on it. Endlessly, we have searched for explanations and have drawn maps. We explore the universe by all possible means: stone models, telescopes or spaceships. We are inheritors of that search and everything related to space attracts us. This exhibition could well be a modern version of the “cabinets of curiosity” of the Renaissance that exhibited unusual objects from the great geographical discoveries. We encourage visitors to explore the space with the aid of some extraordinary pieces: meteorites that tell us about the origin of the Solar System, the telescope of the pioneer Emilio Herrera, the original costume of the first Spanish astronaut, scale models, videos and more than 200 objects from the Gasull collection related to space exploration, an exploration that has changed our lives forever
