The landscaping project is approached from a double approach. On the one hand, an intervention is proposed in the sinuous parterres of the perimeter, inspired by the riparian forest, whose objective is to create a continuous and permeable backdrop that envelops the space. On the other hand, in the central area a “mobile landscape” has been proposed that can be adapted to the different situations that are experienced in this square, in this case, inspired by the natural ecosystems of the Andalusian meadow, where olive trees and rosemary are the stars.
An adaptable square is sought that achieves a balance between local use, tourism, and the large mass celebrations of the city.
To achieve this triple objective, a system of “mobile-pot-benches-pots” has been designed which, depending on their arrangement in the square, generate different landscapes, creating the optimal spatial conditions to respond to all kinds of needs.
