Throughout time and in many cultures, Mars has generated more curiosity and veneration than any other planet. A source of fear and fantasy at the same time, territory of “the others” and a desirable destination for humans in the future.
Walking on Mars is, without a doubt, the greatest feat that mankind has proposed to bequeath future generations. Today we know that our neighbouring planet is far from being our hospitable twin. And yet, it is still the most welcoming place we have found so far in a hostileuniverse that demonstrates how the Earth is really a fragile miracle.
