Currently more than 68 million people in the world have been forced to leave their homes to be safe. In their flight, many are trapped in countries of origin and transit where their rights are violated and they are in grave danger. In addition, throughout their migratory journey they cross borders that have become spaces of "non-rights" where violence and impunity take precedence over respect for their lives, their dignity and their rights. Added to all this are the many existing barriers to obtaining adequate protection and inclusion in the countries they arrive at.
Saturated with information and bombarded by images, we run the risk of normalizing this human drama instead of having a transformative attitude to contribute to the defense of the rights of migrants and refugees.
IN NO MAN'S LAND aims to contribute to the awareness of our responsibility as a host society. We want to recover the attention of the public, creating an environment that allows us to stop to reflect and that promotes solidarity with those who have been forced to flee.
