And during those six years in which I did not take up the pen I continued
being a writer in a dull, constant remorse.

remedy, that everything that flourished in my life would suffer that
monstrous process of necessary literary elaboration
to invent; and that with all the anguish of my bones,
everything would turn into ink, whether I wanted it or not.

The concept for Carmen Laforet's identity has to do with the idea of immateriality, of the ethereal, of the cloud of ink, of “nothing”. His image decomposes and fades into fragments. From that idea, an icon with his face was created that could be adapted and applied to all graphic media. The dominant color chosen was aqua green as it connected us with its iconic typewriter.
The identity has been applied in different formats such as banners for different facades, photocall, invitation, material for social networks and catalogue.
