The exhibition reveals the figure of Ravi Shankar as an ambassador of Indian music, his role as George Harrison's guru and the importance of The Beatles' trip to India, as cornerstones of a before and after in global music.
On the occasion of the celebration of the centenary of the birth of Ravi Shankar (1920-2012), an exhibition of the famous Indian sitarist is presented, and the trip that The Beatles made in India, in order to talk about the importance of cultural assimilation, respect and mutual influence between Indian and Western culture, and the role played by the encounter and relations between these two music icons.
