Considered one of the most brilliant artists of the 20th century, and though thirty years after his death he cntinues to eb difficult to categorize, no one questions the purely visual fascination exercised by films such as Rear Window, Vertigo, and Psycho, a compendium of powerful images that over time have become veritable modern icons.
